Privacy policy
Last updated 30 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information WoemaAI collects and how we use it. We follow South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and, for people in the EU and UK, the GDPR.
What we collect
- Waitlist: your email address, and if you choose to share them, what you want to build and your country.
- Members: your name, email, project details you enter, your progress, support messages and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment providers; we never see or store them.
- Usage: basic, privacy-friendly analytics about which pages are visited.
How we use it
- To email you about founding spots and launch, if you joined the waitlist.
- To run your account, personalise your Build Map and prompts, and answer support requests.
- To improve the guide, for example by seeing which steps people get stuck on.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run WoemaAI: Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), our payment providers, our email provider, and Anthropic (for the AI Prompt Coach). Some of them store data outside South Africa. We only share what each needs to do its job.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or unsubscribe from emails at any time. Email hello@woemaai.com and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
How long we keep it
Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or we launch and you decide not to join. Member data is kept while your account is active and deleted within 90 days of you closing it, unless the law requires us to keep records such as invoices.
